Fairtex BS1956 Colourful Muay Thai Shorts take the modern Fairtex slim-cut pattern and add vertical bands of colour over a black base. The result is a pair that stands out on the pads without going over the top, and that still reads as a serious Thai short rather than a fashion piece.

The shorts are made from long-lasting polyester satin, lightweight and quick to dry. Fairtex tailors the leg slimmer than its traditional sizing for better mobility and a cleaner line, while keeping more room than a kickboxing short. High side slits free up the hips, the six-strip elastic waistband with inner drawstring keeps everything in place, and new-style piping on the legs gives a sharper finish. Colour Without Compromise

The vertical colour bands are part of the satin itself rather than a heavy overlay, so the BS1956 weighs the same as a plain Fairtex short and dries just as quickly. The design lines up with the piping on the legs for a tidy look from the front and the side.

Freedom Where It Matters

A slim leg looks good, but it is the high side slits that make the pattern work. They let the hip open fully for round kicks, teeps and knees, and the waistband stays put when you are pulling and turning in the clinch. These are shorts you can wear for a full round of kick pads without thinking about them.

Sizing Note

Fairtex shorts run small compared with UK sizing. If you are between two sizes, go up one. The inner drawstring will take in any extra at the waist.
