Fairtex BS1909 Muay Thai Shorts are a slim-fit training and fight short from Fairtex, handmade in Thailand from premium microfibre satin. They are designed for fighters at every level, from amateurs building their first fight kit to professionals who need shorts that behave the same in the last week of camp as they did in the first. Offered in black, sizes XS to 3XL.

The cut is the key feature of this range. Fairtex has tailored the BS1909 slimmer than their traditional sizing for better mobility and agility, while keeping a larger fit than the kickboxing collection for comfort and flexibility during hard sessions. High side slits keep the legs free, and a six-strip elastic waistband with an inner drawstring holds the shorts securely in place. They are suited to training, sparring and competition and work for anyone who prefers a Muay Thai short with a neater silhouette.

A slim Muay Thai short still has to open fully at the hip. The BS1909 keeps the leg opening and side slits generous, so round kicks, teeps and knees come up without any pull, while the slimmer thigh keeps the fabric out of the way during footwork and pad work.

The six-strip elastic waistband spreads its hold across a wide band, so it stays flat and does not dig in. The inner drawstring adds a second level of adjustment, which helps keep the fit consistent as your weight changes through a camp or a cut.
