Fairtex BS1917 Muay Thai Shorts are part of the current Fairtex slim-fit range, built for fighters who want a lighter, closer cut than the traditional Thai pattern without giving up the freedom that Muay Thai demands. The BS1917 is handmade in Thailand from premium microfibre satin and comes in black, in a full run of sizes from XS to 3XL.

Fairtex has tailored these shorts slimmer than their traditional sizing for improved mobility and agility, while keeping them larger than the kickboxing collection so there is still plenty of room through the hips and thighs. A six-strip elastic waistband with an inner drawstring gives a secure, adjustable fit, and high side slits leave the legs free for kicks and knees. They are suitable for training, sparring and competition, and sit in our range of Fairtex Muay Thai shorts alongside the collaboration designs.

A Waistband That Stays Put

The six-strip elastic waistband is wider and more stable than a single band, so it sits flat and holds through clinch work, knees and rotation. The inner drawstring lets you fine-tune the fit on top of the elastic, which is useful if your weight moves around during a fight camp. Nothing rolls, folds or needs pulling up between rounds.

Light Enough to Forget

Microfibre satin is light on the leg, resists sweat and dries quickly between sessions. Combined with the slim cut and high slits, the BS1917 moves with you through footwork, teeps and round kicks rather than flapping about. Wear them with Fairtex shin guards and gloves for a full training kit.
