Hi Gethin – genuine leather, handmade in Thailand. Twins don’t do a synthetic version of the BGLL1, so that price is for the full leather glove.

Hi Hugo – honestly, lace-ups are awkward on your own. They’re superb for sparring and competition where someone can tie you in, but if you mostly train solo you’ll get on better with a Velcro glove like the Twins BGVL3.
